Our Services

Community Care Services
Loving our neighbour, one family at a time — Matthew 22:39
Every community transformed begins with one family at a time. Through our People Project (OPP), GEMS reaches villages burdened by social oppression, substance addiction, and generational hardship — providing moral care, child support, and health services. The results are visible: children in school, youth pursuing higher education, and entire communities rebuilding their social and moral fabric from the ground up.

Educational Services
Equipping the next generation to go further — Matthew 28:19
Over 40 years ago, a small investment in literacy planted seeds that are still bearing fruit across Bihar and neighboring states. Today, GEMS Nursing, Polytechnic, Girls ITI, English and Hindi Medium Schools stands as evidence that quality education changes trajectories — and that faithfully tending that investment across generations produces transformation no single generation could achieve alone.

Medical Services
Healing the body, serving the soul — Acts 1:8
What began in 1975 as a modest effort to bring healthcare to underserved communities has grown into a vital lifeline. GEMS Multispecialty Hospital with 150 beds in Sikaria, Bihar, a second facility in Dudhi, Uttar Pradesh, and multiple Telemedicine Centers now serve over 50,000 people every year — through surgical camps, community outreach, and consistent frontline care for those who would otherwise have no access to quality healthcare.

Social Infrastructure Services
Sound stewardship that builds from within, sustainable communities need more than aid — they need skills, awareness, and local agency. GEMS has transformed 26 Hindi-medium junior schools into Social Action Centres (SAC), equipping communities with livelihood training and programs such as mud-cups, wood pellets, that build long-term capacity from within, for services on demand consistently locally, from locally sourced ecologically sustainable resources.

Humanitarian Services
Reaching the forgotten, restoring the afflicted — Luke 24:46–49
For thousands of hopeless, destitute, and homeless individuals, GEMS is often the first — and only — hand extended. Through Operation Upliftment of Rural People (OPP), the RAHAB Project for abused and abandoned children, Shishu Kalyan Kendra, and outreach to the marginalized Musahar community, GEMS delivers food, education, clothing, and dignity to those society has left behind.
